BTS x Samsung

Samsung is one of the most prominent companies with its roots in South Korea, and so it seems only natural to have BTS - a globally beloved South Korean band - as a promoter for the electronics giant. On 19th February, 2020 Samsung officially confirmed its partnership with BTS during  Connect, BTS , the band's global art project as part of the promotions for their hit album " Map of the Soul: 7 " released in February 2020.  Samsung stepped in to elevate the experience by providing an Augmented Reality (AR) docent which could be downloaded to Galaxy phones and allow the users to experience the Connect, BTS exhibits through Virtual Reality. BTS x McDonald's

McDonald's has been previously known for revealing what well-known celebrities' go-to orders are under their Famous Orders program, from the 2020 Super Bowl commercial  to collaborating with artists Travis Scott and J Balvin. These collaborations boosted McDonald’s sales, with the Travis Scott order becoming a hit in the U.S.  But then, McDonald's thought, why stop at the United States? They wanted to make an impact globally, and who better to do that with than the insanely talented and internationally loved stars, BTS! McDonald's announcing the collaboration The official Twitter account of McDonald’s revealed on April 19 that BTS would be the newest addition to these Famous Orders collaborations and announced the BTS Meal. The septet’s go-to meal includes a 10 piece Chicken McNuggets, medium fries, and a medium drink. McDonald's also introduced two new dipping sauces through this meal combo, inspired by South Korea’s recipes, Sweet Chili and Cajun. BTS collabo

BTS x Louis Vuitton

From Music to Fashion, BTS has done it all! Not only are they enormously successful and globally loved singers, dancers, songwriters, producers, and philanthropists, they are now also the Global House Ambassadors for one of the most luxurious brands out there, Louis Vuitton.  BTS at the Louis Vuitton Men's FW21 Collection show. Louis Vuitton quoted on April 23rd, “Joining as new House Ambassadors, the world-renowned Pop Icons @bts_bighit are recognized for their uplifting messages that impart a positive influence. Louis Vuitton is pleased to welcome members RM, Jin, SUGA, J-Hope, Jimin, V and Jung Kook.” Not long after the announcement, Twitter and Instagram were abuzz with excited fans and BTS was on top of the global trends. Getting on “trending” may not be really new for BTS, but it surely is another notch on their belt to be associated with a brand such as Louis Vuitton.  As if this wasn’t enough, BTS made a runway debut and slew it. Now they are models too, how cool is that!

BTS x Brands: An Introduction

BTS or simply Bangtan Boys is a South Korean boy band consisting of 7 members from which 3 are rappers, 4 are vocalists and all of them can dance! BTS made their big debut under the entertainment company, Big Hit Entertainment in 2013. Big Hit was a small company that was on the verge of bankruptcy back then but has now become one the most profitable companies in South Korea, thanks to BTS who also contribute 0.03% to South Korea's economy .  Big Hit Entertainment evolved into HYBE Corporation which operates as a record label, talent agency, music production company, event management, concert production and music publishing house. The company has also recently acquired Ithaca holdings, a company that manages pop stars like Ariana Grande, Justin Bieber, Demi Lovato and J Balvin.
